As the Konya Başkent International Patient Team, we were honored to visit Başkent University Hospital in Ankara and meet our founder, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal the pioneering surgeon whose groundbreaking contributions to organ transplantation have shaped modern medicine in Türkiye.

 

During our visit, we had the privilege of exploring the MR unit and witnessing the latest state-of-the-art medical technologies, including the LINAC device the only one of its kind in Ankara and one of very few available worldwide.

 

This experience, coupled with the exchange of insights and knowledge, reinforces our dedication to enhancing our services and providing the highest standards of care to our patients.

A New Step of Hope for Little Nour

In a heartwarming humanitarian effort, our hospital’s Konya branch welcomed the Moroccan child “Nour”, who received a prosthetic limb following the loss of one of her legs. This initiative was made possible through the support of the Moroccan charity organization Yallah Netteawnou, led by Ms. Nawal Filali and her dedicated team, who accompanied and supported the family throughout the treatment journey. Nour’s first step was emotional and challenging both mentally and physically. However, she showed incredible courage and has adapted well to her new prosthesis. We pray that her journey ahead will be even brighter and full of progress. Little Ziyad, who accompanied her, is also in good health. Following the completion of their treatment, both children have returned to their home country, the Kingdom of Morocco. We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Nawal Filali and her team, as well as all those who contributed to making this meaningful humanitarian support possible.
