Başkent Konya in Dakar: New Global Healthcare Partnerships
As part of its strategic vision to strengthen its international presence and expand healthcare collaborations, Mr. Ercan Zeki Gedik, accompanied by Dr. Ömer Ali Kerküklü, Medical Director of the International Patient Department at Başkent Konya Hospital, paid an official visit to Dakar, the capital of Senegal.
This visit reflects the hospital’s ongoing efforts to establish strong global partnerships in the field of medical tourism and to promote the exchange of medical expertise with international healthcare institutions, particularly across the rapidly growing African healthcare market.
During the visit, an official meeting was held with representatives of the Dakar Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIAD), attended by its President, Mr. Abdoulaye Sow. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in the healthcare sector and developing strategic partnerships aimed at improving the quality of medical services and facilitating access to advanced treatment options for international patients.
The meeting also highlighted the advanced medical capabilities of Başkent Konya Hospital, including organ transplantation, cardiovascular surgery, pediatric cardiology, stem cell therapies, and a wide range of specialized medical services tailored to meet the needs of international patients in line with global healthcare standards.
