Lazhan… A Small Heart on a Life-Saving Journey
The
child Lazhan arrived at Başkent University Konya Hospital suffering from
congenital heart defects present since birth, including:
• Ventricular septal defect (VSD)
• Atrial septal defect (ASD)
• Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA)
Following
comprehensive medical evaluations, a carefully planned treatment strategy was
established. Lazhan subsequently underwent a complex cardiac surgical
procedure, requiring advanced expertise and close coordination among
specialized medical teams.
The
surgery was successfully performed, and his condition stabilized in the
postoperative period. He then entered the recovery phase under continuous

challenging period.
