After Returning Home, Isaka Came Back to Continue His Treatment Journey
Five-year-old Isaka arrived at Başkent Konya
Hospital from Niger with his family after being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD), seeking a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation program
tailored to his individual needs.
Following detailed medical evaluations, a
multidisciplinary treatment plan was developed, including stem cell therapy,
physical therapy, as well as regular follow-up with pediatric neurology and
child psychiatry specialists. The program was designed to support his
development and provide comprehensive care through a coordinated medical
approach.
Throughout the treatment period, Isaka’s
condition was closely monitored by the medical team, with continuous
assessments of his progress and response to the treatment plan.
After completing the first phase of treatment,
Isaka returned home and continued follow-up according to medical
recommendations. Over time, his family observed positive changes in several
areas that had previously concerned them, encouraging them to return to Başkent
Konya Hospital for continued evaluation and follow-up with the same specialists.
During the second visit, his condition was
reassessed, and his treatment plan was reviewed to ensure continuity of care
according to his ongoing developmental needs.
The family was also supported throughout their
journey by Ms. Roaa Saad Aldin, who coordinated appointments, medical
procedures, and communication with the healthcare teams, helping make their
experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.
At Başkent Konya Hospital, we believe in a
multidisciplinary approach to supporting children with Autism Spectrum
Disorder, focusing on individualized care plans that address each child’s
unique needs while providing guidance and support for their families throughout
the treatment journey.
