Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal, Founder of Başkent University and one of the world's leading pioneers in organ transplantation, received an official honor in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements and humanitarian contributions to the advancement of organ transplantation and international medical cooperation.

Prof. Haberal was awarded an Official Certificate of Honor and Medal by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, representing the Kyrgyz government, in appreciation of his pioneering role in developing organ transplantation programs and promoting medical education, research, and international healthcare collaboration.
