International Recognition for Prof. Mehmet Haberal at a Global Symposium Attended by 14 Countries
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal, Founder of Başkent University and one of the world's leading
pioneers in organ transplantation, received an official honor in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in recognition of
his outstanding scientific achievements and humanitarian contributions to the
advancement of organ transplantation and international medical cooperation.
Prof. Haberal was
awarded an Official Certificate of Honor
and Medal by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic,
representing the Kyrgyz government, in appreciation of his pioneering role in
developing organ transplantation programs and promoting medical education,
research, and international healthcare collaboration.
The award was
presented during the International
Symposium on Organ Transplantation and Donation, which brought
together distinguished physicians, scientists, and experts from 14 countries around the world.
