Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal Welcomes the Healthcare Delegation from Uzbekistan in Ankara
Following the completion of their two-day program in
Konya, the healthcare delegation from Uzbekistan continued its visit in
Ankara, where the delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal,
Founder of Başkent University, as part of the third day of the program.
The Ankara visit followed the delegation’s program at Başkent
University Konya Hospital on September 24 and 25, during which the guests
had the opportunity to learn about the hospital’s medical specialties,
procedures, healthcare services, and patient care processes, as well as meet
physicians and healthcare professionals from different departments.
During the meeting in Ankara, Prof. Dr. Mehmet
Haberal warmly welcomed the members of the delegation and introduced them
to Başkent University and its healthcare and academic institutions. He shared
information about the development of the university, its approach to healthcare
and education, and the institutional structure that brings medical services,
academic education, and scientific research together.
Prof. Dr. Haberal also ensured that the delegation’s
program included an opportunity to see these institutions firsthand. Following
the meeting, the delegation visited Başkent University Ankara Hospital,
Başkent University, and several facilities within the Başkent structure,
gaining a closer understanding of their medical, academic, and institutional
activities.
Throughout the visit, the delegation also met with
physicians and representatives from different departments. These meetings
provided an opportunity to exchange information and professional experience
regarding healthcare services, medical practices, and different areas of mutual
interest.
The warm welcome extended by Prof. Dr. Mehmet
Haberal was an important part of the Ankara program, giving the delegation
an opportunity to gain a broader perspective on the Başkent structure, where healthcare,
university education, and scientific research are brought together within
an integrated institutional framework.
With the Ankara visit, the Uzbek delegation concluded
its three-day program, which began with two days at Başkent University Konya
Hospital and continued in the capital with visits to Başkent University’s
healthcare and academic institutions and a meeting with Prof. Dr. Mehmet
Haberal.
