Başkent Konya Hospital Participates in the 5th Türkiye–Africa Business & Economic Forum
As part of its strategic efforts to foster international collaboration in healthcare, Başkent Konya University Hospital proudly participated in the 5th Türkiye–Africa Business and Economic Forum, held on October 16–17, 2025 at the Istanbul Congress Center. The event was organized by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, in partnership with the African Union and the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), gathering over 4,000 participants from 50 African countries.
Held under the theme “Strengthening Türkiye–Africa Relations to Share Common Gains”, the forum featured high-level ministerial sessions, country presentations, and over 2,000 bilateral business meetings. The event provided a robust platform to explore economic cooperation across key sectors,healthcare, medical tourism, and advanced clinical services among them.
Başkent Konya Hospital was represented by:

The hospital delegation held several productive meetings with health sector stakeholders, aiming to expand partnerships with African nations, particularly in organ transplantation, complex medical care, and international patient services. This participation reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to becoming a trusted healthcare hub not only in Türkiye but across global medical networks.
