Başkent University Konya Application And Research Center Take Strategic Steps In Health Tourism

Application and Research Center, which continues its activities with the
responsibility of being a leading name in the health sector, participated in
the sectoral meetings called the 26th Health Tourism Vision Meetings.

Application and Research Center, which has been involved in Health Tourism
activities in Konya since 2017 and pioneered the establishment of Konya Health
Tourism Association, continues its activities in this field rapidly in the
national and international arena.
Health Tourism Vision Meetings,
organized every year by the Export Promotion Center (IGEME), gathered in
Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Antalya on different dates of the year in 2022.
Health Tourism Vision Meetings,
held for the 26th time this year, were held in Ankara on 25.11.2022, hosted by
IGEME. Murat Işık, General Manager of IGEME, emphasized that Turkey has a
suitable ground for health tourism and that strategic developments are taking
place at this point.
While the sector components
participating in the program expressed their goals, activities and demands,
IGEME General Manager Murat Işık told the participants about the incentives for
health tourism investments, the importance of insurance in health tourism, the
intricacies of finding and bringing patients from abroad, and digital marketing
and advertising management in health tourism.
In addition, as a result of the meeting, it was stated that they attach
great importance to health tourism and that Turkey has a serious potential in
this field as it hosts well-equipped hospitals with experienced doctors
