In alignment with national and international healthcare standards, Başkent University Hospital – Konya has inaugurated its Multidisciplinary Obesity Center, operated by a licensed team of 17 specialists and officially accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
The center follows a holistic and integrated treatment model, involving licensed bariatric surgeons, clinical dietitians, gastroenterologists, cardiologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, anesthesiologists, and dedicated nursing and post-op follow-up teams.
All medical procedures, including advanced surgeries such as sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass, are carried out by Ministry-approved surgeons and supported by tailored nutritional and psychological counseling, along with comprehensive pre- and post-operative assessments.
