Baskent University Konya Application and Research Center International Patient Department Medical Director Dr. Ömer Ali Kirkuklu attended the Baghdad Ibn-i El Beldi Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Medicine Symposium held in Baghdad. The symposium was organized to share important developments in the field of pediatric cardiology and to exchange information about treatment methods.

The symposium offered a platform where subjects such as the number of cases followed at Başkent University Konya Application and Research Center, types of cases, survival rates and new treatment methods were discussed. Dr. Ömer Ali Kirkuklü shared the successful work of the center and its efforts to provide services in accordance with international standards with the participants at the symposium.

Also at the symposium, pediatric cardiologist Dr. Hafiz Celil El Musavi also took part as a speaker. Dr. El Müsevi presented the treatment methods applied in Başkent University Hospitals Konya but not yet routine in Iraq, and the elements that increase the quality of patient service to the participants. This information has been an important sharing in order to go further in the field of pediatric cardiology in Iraq and increase access to treatment.

In addition, nurses and technical personnel working in the pediatrics department and pediatric cardiovascular surgery department actively participated in the event.
